The expansion of the production hall and raising the technological level of metal processing production – the project has been successfully completed!

Project Description

The project holder is the company OMP Obrada Metala, based in Zabok, Krapina-Zagorje County. The company is engaged in metal processing and the production of metal parts for production and process equipment for foreign customers, exporting all its production to the German and Swiss markets. The investment that the company plans in the short term is related to:

• Expansion of the existing production hall

• Purchase of machines, measuring equipment, and computer programs.

The main problem currently faced by the company is the lack of space in the production hall, which prevents the accommodation of new production units. An additional problem is the shortage of high-tech metal processing machines necessary to meet the demand from both existing and potential customers. The prevailing trend is the orientation of customers towards fewer suppliers who are capable of producing a wide range of products, thus simplifying business operations, lowering costs, and increasing competitiveness. This can only be achieved by implementing cutting-edge technology, which allows multitasking and executing a large number of operations.

Goals

General project objectives:

General goal 1 – Strengthening the market position and competitiveness of businesses in Krapina-Zagorje County through investments in the construction of production capacities for SMEs and investments in technologically advanced equipment.

The project specifically aims to expand the capacity of the existing business unit, contributing to achieving positive results for entrepreneurs in Krapina-Zagorje County, creating new jobs, and increasing employment.

Specific goals (representing the purpose of the project):

Specific goal 1 – Construction of production capacities and the procurement of modern machines, measuring equipment, and computer programs;

Specific goal 2 – Introduction of new products to satisfy existing customers and acquire new ones;
